Sling

Carrying around a new born is not easy, but believe me: carrying around 17 kilos of kid in the “nee” age can be...challenging? This lovely human puppy, although irresistibly cute, is quite stubborn: no pushchair, she wants to walk. Of course she gets tired (the legs of a thingy no taller than one meter are SHORT!) and inevitably asks to be carried (nope: pushchair no good).

And that’s how you start your very own weight-lifting routine around town...to be noted that the human puppy (always irresistibly cute) stays in your arms no more than 2 minutes, then she sindacates “lopen” and she jumps down...by the time the sun goes down, you can’t feel your arms, your back hurts, you can’t move your neck and you start feeling sense of migraine.
Since the imminent piglimage in the Land of the Rising sun, one of my “to do Lists” was dedicated to the “transportation implements” for MFSJ. Pushchair yes or no? While we try to decide if we take our own or we rent one once there, last Saturday I produced the sling you see in the picture above...and Sunday we test-drove it around town. MFSJ, after her initial firm “nee”, adapted quite easily to this “cangaroo life” and let mum and dad run around town to enjoy the open monuments day.
I think we can safely say that we completed ONE OF THE LISTS...neeeeeeeeeeeeeeeext!
The instructions to make the sling can be found....on the web (it is a distraction, but it does bring you lot of useful infos)
