Sposarsi (dal punto di vista dello sposo)

Anche a me, come ad una mia cara amica, piace ricevere brown paper packages, quei pacchetti di cartone ondulato in genere provenienti dalla Amazon e che contengono libri (sopratutto) ma anche altri supporti mediatici.
Super fortunata, io l'ultimo "brown package" l'ho ricevuto da Mr HTML, aka MaritoBalosso, e conteva il libro di cui vedete la copertina.
Mr HTML e' un grande, davvero. Che si tratti dei principi fisici del decollo di un aereo, delle sue personali regole sulla panificazione casalinga o dei codici HTML per far contrarre/espandere un testo (come qui, in questo blog), Mr HTML e' proprio bravo a spiegare le cose!!! E in questo libro, non e' da meno.

Quanti libri per il futuro SPOSO avete visto in giro? Ci sono riviste spesse come Anna Karenina che parlano in dettaglio di giarrettiere, trucco, acconciature, di come il vestito della sposa deve essere coordinato alle decorazioni della chiesa...ma se tutto va bene, dedicano al futuro marito non piu' di un paio di paginette.
In Sposarsi, Mr HTML non vi detta i dieci comandamenti del perfetto sposo (per quelli basta una qualunque rivista per la Futura sposa), vi racconta come lui e Mrs MoglieBalossa si sono fidanzati, hanno deciso di sposarsi, di come hanno reso piu' vere e sentite sia la loro cerimonia che la festa subito dopo.
L'approccio maschile alla cerimonia ed alla vita matrimoniale e' decisamente diverso da quello maschile. Meno male che Mr HTML ha avuto il coraggio di mettere tutto su carta!
Peccato che il libro non sia uscito prima (prima che ci sposassimo il MGP ed io!!!) e peccato che non ci sia la versione inglese.
adesso mi tocca tradurlo al MGP...eh si'...perche' la prossima volta che il MGP ed io ci sposeremo, le cose andranno MOLTO diversamente!

lucky me, my last brown paper package came from a dear friend, Mr HTML, aka MaritoBalosso, and contained his book (the cover is the one in the picture).
Mt HTML is a great guy, really. He can exaplain with calm and simplicity the physical principles behind the take off of a plane, his personal rules of bread making as well as the HTML codes to make the text expand or collapse (yes, like the ones in this blog). His book titles "Getting married, from the point of view of the groom".

How many books for the future husband have you seen around? there are magazines as thick as Anna Karenina with details on garters, make up, hairdos, on how to match the dress to the floral decorations in church...if you get lucky, you mihgt find a couple of PAGES dedicated to the groom.
in his book, Sposarsi, Mr HTML won't dictate the ten commandaments for the perfect groom (for those, refer tothe abovementioned magazines for brides)...but he will tell you how him and Mrs BoglieBalossa got engaged, decided to get married, and embarked in organizing (and personalizing) both ceremony and party.
The male point of view on ceremony and marital life is quite different from the female one. I'm glad Mr HTML had the guts to write it all down.
Pity the book was not published before (before me and MFJ got married!) and pity that there's no english version, yet.
Now I'll have to translate it to MFJ...oh, yes...'cause the next time me and MFJ tie the knot, things will go differently.
