Il Mio Vicino Totoro...penso che tutti i bimbi che hanno visto il film vorrebbero un vicino cosi’! Sicuramente la MSGP sarebbe felicissima.
Pensavo che la MSGP non resistesse...mi dicevo che era troppo piccola per mantenere l’attenzione per 86 minuti filati. Ero SICURA che avrebbe ceduto dopo la sigla iniziale...non e’ stato cosi’. Totoro ha rimpiazzato Shaun The Sheep, ed adesso dobbiamo stare ben attenti a guardare Totoro la sera...si rischia di dover aspettare 86 minuti per poter fare il bagnetto (o-furo) e mettere il pigiamino...con il rischio che due occhioni a mandorla ti guardino da sotto in su’ chiedendo “more?” (e come fai a dire no? Tanto piu’ che la sigla mi piace da impazzire...e via! Altro giro di ARUKOOOOOOOOOO)



Godetevi Mei e Totoro che attraversano lo schermo, non so perche’ ma c’e’ anche un grillo…e poi ci sono (verso la fine) i miei preferiti…i makkurokurosuke (sembrano ricci di mare, neri e pelosetti...penso piacciano anche a Miyazaki perche’ li ho poi rivisti in La Citta’ Incantata)

My Neighbor Totoro...I think all the kids that saw the movie would like a neighbor like that. I’m sue MFSJ would be over the moon!
I thought she would not last…I told myself that she was too small to last 86 minutes (what’s the attention-span of a toddler, anyway?). I was SURE she would give up after the first song…I was SO wrong! Totoro has taken the place which Shaun the Sheep occupied since Xmas and now we are facing a big problem…if you start watching Totoro in the evening, be aware that it could take up to 86 minutes to get teh little one to wear her pjs...and there is the strong possibility that two beautiful big almond-shaped eyes will look up at you saying “more?” (and how can you say no, when you love it too? Oh, well…just this once…you press play and sing along…ARUKOOOOOOOOOOOO)
Enjoy Mei and Totoro in that little youtube movie…I think there's a grasshopper walking across the screen as well. And there are my favourite ones: makkurokurosuke (they look like sea-urchins, black and fluffy…they must be Miyazaki’s favourite too, because they appear in “spirited away” as well)
