Festa della mamma

C’e’ solo UN bimbo bello a questo mondo, ed e’ quello…di ogni madre!!!
Domenica scorsa era la festa della mamma. La mia TERZA festa come mamma...anche se il primo anno la MSGP aveva meno di una settimana...

Sapete una cosa? Anche quest anno ho aspettato con curiosita’ il regalino che le maestre fanno preparare all'asilo per questa occasione. Questa volta mi e' arrivata tra le mani una molletta di legno decorata con un pescione di carta verde...Quando ho aperto il pacchetto la MSGP si e’ accorta che dentro c’era qualcosa di noto...cosi’ ha cominciato a strillare “es Coninna”, a significare che l’aveva fatto lei. “e’ per la mamma?” “Jaaa, es Coninna”....tutta orgogliosa.
Il pescione fa bella mostra di se’ in cucina.
E’ il regalo piu’ bello che abbia mai ricevuto...e sara’ cosi’ fino all’anno prossimo, stesso periodo!
...nel caso vi siate scordati di regalare un pescione verde alla vostra mamma, potete correre ai ripari e festeggiare con i polacchi (26 maggio), i tailandesi (12 agosto), i costaricani (15 agosto)...avete tempo fino all’8 dicembre, quando si festeggia la festa della mamma in Nicaragua e Panama...tirate fuori i pennarelli e la colla!!!

You know what? Also this year I waited with curiosity for the little present that teachers made kids to prepare at daycare. This time I got a beautiful…wooden peg decorated with a huge green paper fish. When I opened the package MFSJ realized that inside there was something she had made…she started screaming “es coninna”, meaning she made it. “is it for mamma?” “jaaa, es coninna”…all proud.
It goes without saying that the fish is on permanent display in our kitchen.
It’s the best present I ever got…until next year, same time…I guess!
…if you forgot to give your mum a green paper fish, you are still in time. You can celebrate with Polish (may 26), Thai (august 12) or Costarican (august 15)…there’s time until December 8th, when mothers from Nicaragua and Panama are celebrated…what are you waiting for? Get those pencils and glue ready!!!
